Prof Zhou is a Professor of Environmental Engineering, with a PhD in environmental technology at the University of Manchester, UK. He has extensive research experience in a range of projects on water pollution and control using advanced oxidation and treatment technology. He is an expert evaluator for funding bodies including the EU Horizon, UK (EPSRC, NERC, Defra, Royal Society), Luxembourg (National Research Fund), USA (NSF, Sea Grant Committee, US-Israel Binational Agricultural Research and Development Fund), China (NNSFC), Italy (Fondazione Cariplo), Romania (National Council for Development and Innovation), and Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Commission etc. He has published 330 SCI papers with a citation of21000, and an h-index of 82. He is a World’s Top 2% Scientist (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), ranked by Stanford University Mendeley Top 100,000 Cited Researcher in the World (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023);Highly Cited Researcher (2021, 2022, 2023).

Shahab D. Mohaghegh, a pioneer in the application of Artificial Intelligenceand Machine Learning in the Exploration and Production industry, is a Professor of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at West Virginia University and the president and CEO of Intelligent Solutions, Inc. (ISI). He is the director of WVU-LEADS (Laboratory for Engineering Application of Data Science). Including more than 30 years of research and development in the petroleum engineering application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, he has authored five books (Shale Analytics, Data-Driven Reservoir Modeling, Application of Data-Driven Analytics for the Geological Storage of CO2, Smart Proxy Modeling, and Artificial Intelligence for Science and Engineering Application), more than 230 technical papers and carried out more than 60 projects for independents, NOCs and IOCs. He is an SPE Distinguished Lecturer (2007 and 2020) and has been featured four times as a Distinguished Author in SPE’s Journal of Petroleum Technology (JPT 2000 and 2005) about Artificial Intelligence. He is the founder of SPE’s Technical Section dedicated to AI and machine learning (Petroleum Data-Driven Analytics, 2011). He has been honored by the U.S. Secretary of Energy for his AI-based technical contribution in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon (Macondo) incident in the Gulf of Mexico (2011) and was a member of the U.S. Secretary of Energy’s Technical Advisory Committee on Unconventional Resources in two administrations (2008-2014). He represented the United States in the International Standard Organization (ISO) on Carbon Capture and Storage technical committee (2014-2016).

Salah Akkal received his PhD. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Constantine, Algeria in 2001. Chemist Professor with 32-year-long expertise in general chemistry and organic chemistry in the Chemistry Department, Faculty of science. He has published more than 140 papers in reputed journals in addition to 03 book chapters, and one patent application and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute journal and has been serving as a reviewer for many articles in her specialization. He attended more than 30 International Conferences and five workshops. He teaches general chemistry and natural product courses for the students of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Faculty of Technology FSTech at the University of Constantine, Algeria. since 2004. Dr. Peng Wang, Head of Selective Synthesis and Catalysis Department, CTL Technology R&D Center, National Institute of Clean and-low-carbon Energy, CHN ENERGY Investment Group Co. LTD., the inventor of the high-carbon efficiency "Phase-pure Iron-Carbide Catalyst System", which is committed to the direct synthesis of high value-added chemicals from coal/natural gas/biomass-based syngas and patented 102 patents. He is currently the catalyst director of "Integrated technology of low-CO2 selective syngas direct conversion to long chain linear α-olefins ", which is the National Key α Research and Development Program of China.

Lee Wilson is of Métis ancestry and grew up in the small rural community of Lake Francis, Manitoba. He is a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Saskatchewan (USask). After obtaining a B.Sc. at the University of Winnipeg, he completed a Ph.D. at USask, followed by PDF training as an NSERC Visiting Fellow at the Steacie Institute for Molecular Sciences (NRCC, Ottawa). Wilson has established an internationally recognized research program focused on the chemistry of biopolymers and sustainable materials. Current research is focused on understanding structure-function relationships related to sorption processes that are ubiquitous in various physical, chemical and biological phenomena. Wilson has published many peer-reviewed articles (>275) with an H-index of 54 and an i10-index of 166 with more than 8900 citations. His research group is actively involved in studies focused the modification of biomaterials using green chemistry, and characterization of their structure and physicochemical properties to address a range of fundamental scientific questions and practical problems relevant to water, food, and energy security and sustainability. He has served as a role model and mentor to Indigenous youth through outreach activities for the past three decades to encourage youth to pursue their goals through education and to use his scientific knowledge to benefit Canada

He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NPU, Xian, China. His research interests are the synthesis of novel photocatalysts for environmental applications and pollutant remediation. He has published over 40 research articles in reputed journals with 4800+ citations, and 10 papers are under review.
