Linked to the world of health and the IT business for more than 14 years, Ana Sabater leads the EUGENOMIC project, a reference in genetics and pharmacogenetics in Europe. Her training in IT and marketing, as well as her commitment to personalized and quality healthcare, have led her to the development and commercialization of the innovative pharmacogenetic interpretation software g-Nomic®, a cutting-edge tool for medical prescription. In the field of training, Ana Sabater lectures on practical applications of pharmacogenetics at the University of Barcelona and has given more than 40 international presentations on pharmacogenetics.

Professor Lewis started working on toxins during his PhD studies at the University of Queensland, where he researched the nature and pharmacology of ciguatoxins responsible for ciguatera fish poisoning. After 10 years with the Queensland Department of Primary Industry following this line of research, he moved back to The University of Queensland to initiate research into the phamacology of conotoxins, small venom peptides produced by carnivorous cone snails. This research led to the isolation and characterisation of several new classes of conotoxins, including two (w-CVID and Xen2174) that were developed clinically. His current research focusses on the discovery, evolution and structure-function of venom peptides, especially those with potential for the treatment of difficult to manage pain.

Dr. Farid Menaa (Bsc. BioEngineering ; Bsc. Biology and Physiology ; Msc. Genetics ; Master Gerontology/Geriatrics ; PhD Radiation Oncology/Gerontology (Paris, France, 2003) ; three international post-doctoral terms in Oncology, Dermatology, Stem cells, Hematology, Genomics ; MBA Entrepreneurship and MD candidate), is an experienced and skilled inter- and multi-disciplinary professional. During his career, Dr. Menaa followed complementary formations in Marine Biology (Caen, France), Pharmacy (Liege, Belgium), Biochemistry, Chemistry and Biophysics (California, USA), Business Development and Management (USA and Brazil).

I am a doctoral student, linked to the Graduate Program in Tropical Medicine (PPGMT) at the State University of Amazonas (UEA) in partnership with the Tropical Medicine Foundation Doutor Heitor Vieira Doura (FMT-HVD.) I have been a member of the Amazonian Center for Interdisciplinary Research (Amazon InterScience) for 6 years, starting with scientific initiation up to the doctorate. I work in the evaluation of the immune response in Bothrops envenomation in the Amazon region, focusing on the identification of immunological biomarkers involved in the pathogenesis and prognosis of Bothrops accidents.

Prof. Nikola Puvača, Ph.D., DVM is a Researcher and Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering Management in Biotechnology of the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a multidisciplinary scientist with Ph.D. diplomas in Biotechnology, and Veterinary Medicine, and a postdoctoral specialization in Toxicology. He has significant experience in animal and poultry science, with a major interest in nutrition, food quality, general toxicology, natural alternatives for antibiotics, and antimicrobial resistance. He is involved in many research collaborations in various science fields. He is serving as an Editor in Chief, Editorial Board Member, and peer reviewer for many indexed journals, and he is the author of more than 200 scientific papers published in international journals and the proceedings atinternational conferences(910 SCI citations, h-index = 17). He is a member of the European Association for VeterinaryPharmacology and Toxicology (EAVPT). He is a chair of several national and international scientific projects and a guest lecturer at several international universities.He has won many rewards for scientific and professional work, andsince 2019 he has beena Vice Dean for Internarial Cooperationand Erasmus + mobility coordinator at his home Faculty.

Prof. Simon Eric Mitema hold the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine, MSc and PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Nairobi. He is a Professor of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology and formerly served as Chairman, Department of Public Health, Pharmacology and Toxicology and Director, Centre for International Collaboration and Links. He has supervised 8 PhD and 15 Masters Students’ Projects to completion and has published 52 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 20 conference papers.

Dr Makomborero Nyoni is an avid product oriented developer of both complementary medicines and modern biotechnology biologics. He currently serves as the Manager of the Research, Development and Innovation department at the National Biotechnology Authority. His research focuses on the development of safe and effective African complementary medicines for the management of diseases by integrating traditional knowledge and modern science. Dr Nyoni has developed over 10 complementary medicines, which are at various stages of evaluation and commercialization. At the height of the COVOD-19 pandemic, Dr Nyoni led a research team that developed the first ever Lippia javanica based cough syrup in Zimbabwe named COFSOL. The COFSOL cough syrup was launched by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Dr. E.D Mnangagwa on the 6th of October 2021. Dr Nyoni is also passionate about knowledge transfer and has trained many young scientists in the field of traditional medicine. Furthermore, Dr Nyoni and the Biotech Pharmaceuticals Zimbabwe Limited technical team managed to successfully transfer vaccine, biologics and medical devices technology between Zimbabwe and Cuba (CIGB, LABIOFAM, BIOCUBAFARMA, COMBIOMED) – La Havana, Cuba, 26 September 2022

Dr. Debomita Sengupta has been working on breast cancer signaling pathways, diagnostics and treatment aspects for 15 years. Apart from her contributions in the reputed international journals in form of articles, reviews and book chapters, she has been a recipient of multiple prestigious research fellowships from the University Grants Commission, Department of Science & Technology and the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Govt. of India. Her PhD work was selected for presentation in the late-breaking category of the Annual Meeting of AACR; her postdoctoral work was selected for presentation in ESMO and honorary flash talk in Society of Biological Chemists, Kolkata. Dr. Kathirvelu Baskar has completed his Ph.D. in Entomology-Zoology from University of Madras, India. He has specialized in the field of agricultural and household entomology and Ecotoxicology. He is having 19 years of research with 6 months of teaching experience. He has published more than 100 research papers in the field of entomology, especially in agricultural pest management and ecotoxicology (Genetic toxicology and microbiology). He has served as a regulatory ecotoxicologist and entomologist in different organizations in India. He is currently working as Head of Ecotoxicology, at Ross Lifescience Limited. OECD, GLP, Pune, Maharashtra, India. He is also serving as editor and reviewer in a few international journals.
