Dr. Evangelos Sapountzakis is Civil Engineer, Professor at the Institute of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the Structural Engineering Department of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is also Vice Rector for Finance, Programming and Development of NTUA and Director of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program “Structural Design and Analysis of Structures” of NTUA. He obtained his Diploma from NTUA in 1984, the MSc and DIC degrees (Concrete Structures) from Imperial College of Science and Technology of London in 1985 and the PhD degree from NTUA in 1991. He has extensive experience (over 35 years) in the design and analysis of bridge and other largescale structural projects, while since 1996 he has provided consultancy services in various structural and transportation large scale Civil Engineering projects. His published research work comprises 130 original papers published in international journals and 181 papers published in international conference proceedings. He is the author of 12 Chapters in books published by International Publishing Companies, 5 Technical Reports, 4 educational books and co-author of 3 educational books. He is the editor of 6 Books or Conference Proceedings. He has participated in 15 financially supported research projects, while in 11 of them as the Principal Investigator. His research work has received intentional recognition, since he is Honorary Editor, Editor-in-Chief, Academic Editor, Regional Editor, Associate Editor of international journals, member of the editorial board of 29 international journals, member of 72 scientific advisory committees of international conferences, while more than 3000 citations have been noticed in international literature.

Dr. Vassilios (Vassilis) Kappatos is the Head of Constructural and Infrastructure Research in Maritime and Air Transport Laboratory at Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT), Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Greece. He is a member of the board of CERTH, he is Visiting Fellow at School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, Cranfield University, UK and collaborator of oN DuTy program supported by the Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) of the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and industrial partners. He is currently Fellow of The Welding Institute (FWeld) and Member of the - Engineering Council of United Kingdom (CEng) / Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG)/ Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (MIEEE)/ International Society for Condition Monitoring (ISCM) / Hellenic Society for Non Destructive Testing (H.S.N.T)/ Hellenic Institute of Acoustics (HELINA)/ Danish Center for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (DCAMM)/ Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology (MFPT)/ Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chul B. Park is a world leader in the development of innovative, cost-effective technologies for the foamed plastics. Dr. Park has been extensively involved in industrial projects both in consulting and research contracts on various foam processes including microcellular processing, inert gas-injection processing, rotational foam molding, wood-fiber composites, and open-cell foams. Since 1993, he directed the Microcellular Plastics Manufacturing Laboratory at the University of Toronto and has been involved in pioneering work on the concepts of microcellular foaming. The laboratory is recognized as the leading facility in the world for research and development of microcellular plastic foams. Dr. Park’s innovative research in this area indicates that the successful production of microcellular automotive parts could have a major impact on industry. Metallic components, for example, could be replaced with plastic ones, resulting in crucial weight reduction; the introduction of microcellular foams could further reduce part weights, as well as production and operational costs. These weight reductions could also contribute to improved fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions. For over a decade, he has led the Consortium for cellular and Microcellular Plastics (CCMCP) with 20+ industrial sponsors from Canada and around the world. The Consortium has developed state-of-the-art technologies for manufacturing process and production in plastic foaming, which have been widely adopted by a large number of companies in their production. In recognition of his outstanding research achievements, he has received numerous honors and awards in his career. The recent awards include: the NSERC Strategic Network Grant ($5M) in 2010, the Julian C Smith Award from the Engineering Institute of Canada in 2010, Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2010, Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2012, the C.N. Downing Award from the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering in 2012, the M. Eugene Merchant Manufacturing Medal from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers / Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 2012, and Fellow of the Korean Academy of Science of Technology in 2012.

Weidong Zhu is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the founder and director of its Dynamic Systems and Vibrations Laboratory and Laser Vibrometry and Optical Measurement Laboratory. He received his double major BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Computational Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1986, and his MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and the University of California at Berkeley in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He is a recipient of the 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award. He has been an ASME Fellow since 2010, and has served as an Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics and the ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, and as a Subject Editor of the Journal of Sound and Vibration and Nonlinear Dynamics. His research spans the fields of dynamics, vibration, control, applied mechanics, metamaterials, structural health monitoring, and wind energy, and involves analytical development, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application. He has published 279 SCI-indexed journal papers in these areas and has seven issued U.S. patents. He is a recipient of the 2020 University System of Maryland Board of Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Research.

Dr. Chua Kian Jon Ernest is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. From 2001 to 2006, Dr. Chua served as a Research Fellow at ME department where he and his coworkers conducted studies on time-varying heat transient processes for bioproducts. He has received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore, Singapore. In addition, Dr. Chua conducted additional postdoctoral research on the energy-efficient building systems, namely, buildings’ envelop studies and efficient dehumidification systems. In 2006, Dr. Chua left NUS and joined Temasek as a lecturer in the Diploma of Building Technology where he continued his building energy research. In 2008, Dr. Chua returned to NUS and joined ME department as a senior lecturer focusing on teaching. He re-established his research in Biothermal Engineering and building energy system while working closely with another colleague on heat transfer in biofuel hydrogen assisted diesel engine. Presently, Dr. Chua leads two research teams which are attempting to realize a holistic research vision to produce highly efficient thermal processes for energy and environmental nexus. The remarkable aspect of this vision is to employ purely renewable resources, primarily rain-water and sunlight, to provide innovative solutions that are game-changing for green-building ventilation and air-conditioning. Dr. Chua is presently the principal investigators of several key research projects with a total direct research funding of SG$5.2 million. Dr. Chua has hosted a number of specialty seminar/workshops in biothermal heat transfer as well as innovative building energy systems. He has authored and co-authored more than 90 publications and book chapters. His works are highly cited by the global research committee. His total citation count is more than 1200 (from Scopus). His H-index and citations per paper as of September 2014 are 21 and 13.5, respectively. Currently he is serving on the Editorial Board of more than 10 journals.

Dai-Yeun Jeong is presently the Director of Asia Climate Change Education Center and an emeritus prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University in South Korea. He received BA and MA degree in sociology from Korea University (South Korea), and PhD in environmental sociology from University of Queensland (Australia). He was a prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University (South Korea) from 1981 to 2012. His past major professional activities include a teaching professor at University of Sheffield in UK, the president of Asia-Pacific Sociological Association, a delegate of South Korean Government to UNFCCC and OECD environmental meeting, and a member of Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development Republic of Korea, etc. He has published 60 environment-related research papers in domestic and international journals and 13 books including Environmental Sociology. Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Hamid Bahai received his PhD degree in 1993 in Computational Mechanics from Queen Mary College, University of London. Between 1993 and 1995 he worked as a Senior Research Engineer at T&N Technology where he was involved in research and development work on a number of projects for the automotive and aerospace industries. This was followed by a period at Halliburton Inc during which time he carried out design and analysis of a number of major offshore structures. In 1996 he moved to the aerospace industry by joining Astrium, an aerospace subsidiary of European Aeronautics Defence and Space company, where as a senior scientist, he played a leading role in conducting design, mathematical modelling and computational analysis of Euro3000 space craft structures and Ariane launcher / spacecraft adapter. It was during this period that he was made a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers for his technical contributions and services to the scientific and engineering communities. In 1998 he returned to academia and joined Brunel University as a lecturer. He was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2004, Reader in 2005 and Professor in Computational Mechanics in 2009. He has led a number of research projects covering a wide range of topics in the area of Computational Mechanics and has published over 140 papers on various themes in the field. In 2014 Hamid Bahai was appointed as the Head of the newly formed Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at Brunel University London and in 2019 was appointed as the Director of Brunel’s Institute of Materials & Manufacturing.He has conducted consulting work in the field of structural integrity for many UK and International companies and has given invited talks and courses the world over on various topics in structural computational mechanics. Dr. Shahria Alam is a Professor of Civil Engineering in the School of Engineering, and the Tier 1 Principal’s Research Chair in Resilient & Green Infrastructure at The University of British Columbia (UBC)’s Okanagan campus. He is serving as the Director of the Green Construction Research & Training Center (GCRTC) and the Applied Laboratory for Advanced Materials & Structures (ALAMS) at UBC. Dr. Alam is the Chair of the Engineering Mechanics and Materials Division of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from Western University in 2008. His research interests include smart and recycled materials and their structural engineering applications. Dr. Ayman S. Mosallam is a Professor of Structural and Earthquake Engineering, also a Professor, Materials & Manufacturing Engineering Technology and served as the Director of the UCI Structural Engineering Testing Hall at the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at University of California, Irvine (UCI). He is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He is a registered Structural Professional Engineer in the District of Colombia and has more than forty years of experience in affordable housing, materials, environmental, and structural engineering with a particular interest in innovative sustainable building systems and green construction including three-dimensional sandwich panels, bamboo structures, recycled plastics, solar systems, water recycling, efficient cooling system rehabilitation. He is an international leading authority in the area non-conventional sustainable building systems. He is a member of ASCE Construction Institute Materials Directorate (Executive Committee) and a Control Member on the ASCE Structural Composites and Plastics Committee (SCAP). Professor Mosallam serves on the Technical Advisory Board of the International Accreditation Service (IAS). He has published over 500 technical papers, chapters, and reports on structural performance of structural systems and authored, edited and co-edited seven books in this area. Sam Frydman graduated in Civil Engineering at Melbourne University, Australia, and received his MSc and DSc degrees at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Israel. He is now an emeritus professor at the Technion, having served as the head of the Structural and Building Management Department, and is a past chairman of the Israel Geotechnical Society. His research interest is geotechnical engineering; he has published about 150 papers in journals and international conferences, and supervised over 40 post-graduate students. He has been an invited lecturer at numerous international conferences and universities, and received several prizes including the Zeitlin prize for his contribution to geotechnology in Israel, and a Distinguished Visiting Research Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering, U.K., for a research period at Imperial College. In addition to his academic activities, he consults as a partner in the consulting company Geotech P.T. Ltd.

Dr. Ricardo Gómez Val is an architect who read his doctoral thesis in June 2012 at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in relationship with architectonic heritage in Barcelona during the second half of the 20th century. He has been a professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia since 2008 and at the International University of Catalonia since 2018. Throughout these years he has carried out research stays at different European universities. He was the director of the XXXVII International Seminar on Architectural Heritage that took place in Barcelona. In the field of consulting, Professor El-Hoz is the founder and CEO of the Environmental Engineering Consulting Office from 2002 to present. She has advised policymakers, communities, and companies on sustainable solutions to environmental issues since 1998. She worked as a project manager and local coordinator for several environmental projects and trained in water, sanitation, solid waste, and air quality workshops. Her academic and technical work has been recognized internationally. She has published numerous research papers that scholars from all over the world have cited. She has received several major awards in international conferences such as Solid Waste Management and Technology (USA and India), Environmental Science and Technology (USA). She has been invited as a keynote speaker at many national and international conferences. Yan Zhuge is a Professor in Structural Engineering at UniSA STEM. Yan has lectured in several Australian universities for more than 20 years. She has a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering and a Masters in Structural Engineering from Beijing, China, a PhD in Structural Engineering from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. Her main research interests include green concrete materials, fibre composite structures, and seismic retrofitting of masonry structures. She has published more than 200 SCI technical papers and has been invited as a keynote speaker at several international conferences. Yan has successfully supervised many PhD graduates. She has won several Australian and Queensland government awards and fellowships and attracted funding from Australian Research council and industry. She was the winner of 2018 South Australia Winnovation award in Engineering category. She is the current College of Experts of Australian Research Council (ARC).

Claudio Borri(born in 1953 in FiglineValdarno, by Florence) studied Civil Engineering at Univ. of Florence (Italy) and (later on) at Ruhr-Univ.Bochum (Germany), achieving the Degree in Civil Engineering in 1978 and the Ph.D. in Structural Mechanics in 1982. He was appointed as Research Assoc. (1983-90), then as Assoc. Professor (1991) and in 2002as Full professor (Ordinario) of Struct. Mechanics, Computational Mechanics and Chair of Wind Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Florence (Italy); there he has also served for two decades as the Vice-Dean for International Affairs (1992-2012). In 1992 Prof. Borri was the co-founder of CRIACIV(i.e. the Inter-University Research Centre on Building Aerodynamics& Wind Engineering),and responsible of building and developing the first Italian Wind Engrg. Lab. with a Boundary-Layer Wind Tunnel(CRIACIV groups, till nowadays, 8 Italian Universities and is the oldest research centreof this kind in Italy). Dr F. Henry Abanda is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the School of the Built Environment, Oxford Brookes University. He is a Chartered Engineer with the UK Institution of Engineering and Technology. Henry has obtained a number of qualifications in his academic career including: “Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches” (HDR) in Digital Construction Technology (Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France), PhD, Construction IT (Oxford Brookes University, UK), PGCert [Distinction] (Oxford Brookes University, UK ), MA in Monitoring & Evaluation ( Africa Nazarene University, Kenya), Dipl. His teaching and research interests are in Construction IT with focus on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and emerging digital technologies applied in construction practice. Dr. Qijing Yang is currently a Senior Technical Director & Regional Technical Director of Arcadis Australia Pacific based in Sydney, Australia. Dr Yang is also an adjunct professor at East China Jiao Tong University. His consulting experiences are primarily in infrastructure development specialized in geotechnical engineering and tunnelling within Australia and overseas. Dr Yang joined the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia as a visiting research fellow in 1991 after obtaining his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Wuhan University in 1990. He started his consulting career with Coffey Partners as a Geotechnical Engineer in Melbourne in 1993 and then in Sydney. He then worked at Maunsell (now AECOM) as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Sydney in 1996. He is a member of Australian Geomechanics Society and a Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland. He is also a member of International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, and International Society of Engineering Geology and Environment. He was a committee member of Australian Geomechanics Society and has published more than 70 papers in journals and conferences while practicing in geotechnical engineering and tunnelling. The projects he involved have won many prestigious awards within Australia and overseas.

Dr. Wang is currently an Associate Professor of City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Wang is an internationally recognized expert in the field of micromechanical characterization and modeling of granular soils. His works over the past 20 years include the X-ray CT characterization of micro-structures and micro-morphologies of geomaterials, and the DEM modeling and analysis of fundamental soil behaviors of crushable sands and their applications in various kinds of geotechnical engineering problems such as pile foundation, slope stability and retaining structures, etc. Dr. Wang has received a number of prestigious international research awards including VEBLEO fellow 2022, International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) award 2022, Geotechnical Research Medal (UK Institution of Civil Engineers) 2011 and Higher Education Institutions Outstanding Research Award - Natural Science Award (the Ministry of Education of China) 2010. His research has attracted over 8 million HKD of external grants including the Research Grant Council (RGC) of Hong Kong SAR and National Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Dr. Wang currently serves as an Associate Editor of Géotechnique, and Editorial Board Member of Computers and Geotechnics, Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, and Soils and Foundations. So far Dr. Wang has published over 90 SCI journal papers and delivered over 30 keynote/invited lectures, and has a Google Scholar H-index of 31. Dr. Wang is among the list of world's top 2% scientists in 2022.

Dr. Park has been a professor of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 1988. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering at Yonsei University in 1977 and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University in 1979. He worked as a consulting engineer in Korea and Australia for two years after serving two and a half years of military service. He received a Ph.D. in Public Health Engineering at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom in 1985. He worked as a research associate at the Sanitary and Environmental Health Research Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, from 1985 to 1988. Since he joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988, he has taught various environmental engineering courses such as water treatment plant design, wastewater treatment plant design, biological treatment, physical/chemical treatment, hazardous waste management, solids and hazardous waste engineering, industrial water pollution control, etc. His research is in the areas of water quality management and river restoration; biological treatment; hazardous waste treatment; mass transport in the environment; the fate of organic compounds in water and wastewater treatment processes; computer-aided design of water and wastewater treatment plants; and reuse of scrap vehicle tires as a contaminant sorbent. His research was supported by the National Science Foundation, the Department of Defense, municipalities, private industries, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and various research institutes. He has served as a consultant for various governments, research institutes, utilities, universities, and industries all over the world.

Dr. Antonio Sandoli is currently Assistant Professor in Structural Engineering at University of Molise (Italy). He is graduated in Civil Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (Naples, Italy) and achieved his Ph.D. in Engineering of Materials and Structures at the same University with a dissertation on “Seismic behaviour, Modelling and Design of Cross-Laminated Timber Structures”. During his Ph.D., Dr. Sandoli joined the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand) as visiting Ph.D. student focusing on seismic behavior of crosslaminated timber buildings and studying alternative low-damage timber structures in seismic prone areas. In the period 2016-2022, Dr. Sandoli was post-doc at University of Naples Federico II (four years) and at University of Rome Niccolò Cusano (two years) working on the influence of mechanical connections of on seismic behaviour of timber structures and on strengthening solutions and modelling issues of existing masonry buildings under seismic actions. From 2015 he is member of the Italian National Research Council committee, taking part to the working group devoted to the updating of the Italian guidelines CNR DT-206-R1 “Instruction for the Design, Execution and Construction of Timber Structures”. Dr. Sandoli was teaching member to the international master “Sucscos” (Sustainable constructions under natural hazards) focusing on timber structures and for the course of Timber Structures at University of Naples Federico II. He is author of more than 60 scientific publications on international journals and on Conference proceedings concerning the seismic behaviour of timber and masonry structures mainly. In addition, papers on innovative and sustainable solutions for timber buildings in seismic prone areas he published too. Dr Sandoli was Chaired or Co-Chaired at national and international Conferences: 2021 International Conference on Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (8th COMPDYN), 2022 XIX Italian Conference on Earthquake Engineering (ANIDIS) and will chair for the next 2023 International Conference on Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (9th COMPDYN).

Paolo Venini is Associate Professor in Solids and Structural Mechanics at the University of Pavia, Italy. He holds a Laurea Degree in Civil Engineering (cum laude, 1992, University of Pavia, Italy), a Laurea Degree in Mathematics (cum laude, 1997, University of Pavia, Italy), a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (1992, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering (1995, Politecnico di Milano). He is the author of more than 40 papers on international journals of high impact factor mainly concerned with topology optimization, dynamic response of systems and structures, and mixed finite elements. He also works as a professional engineer in the fields of structural, fire and safety engineering with main focus on reinforced concrete and steel structures.

Dr. Zhuangzhuang Liu is Professor and Deputy director of the Department of Road Engineering, School of Highway, Chang’an University. Dr. Liu’s research interest is focused on smart and resilient road engineering, including material Behaviors under complex environments, smart road materials and pavements, roadway energy harvesting and electrical pavement. Dr. Liu is a founding member of the Journal of Road Engineering and serves several academic journals as editorial board members. Liu’s research has been published in nearly 80 articles and presented in 15 conference proceedings.

Dr. Mohamed Al-Hussein is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alberta. He held the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in the Industrialization of Building Construction and was the inaugural director of the Nasseri School of Building Science and Engineering. He is a highly sought researcher in the areas of modular and offsite construction, lean manufacturing, construction process optimization, and BIM. Dr. Michał Juszczyk serves as an associate professor at the Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology, Poland. His technical experience includes working as a an engineer in construction companies in Poland, where he was involved in building construction projects in Cracow, Poland. His particular professional and scientific interests include construction management problems and applications of BIM in construction projects. He has been involved as an expert witness in several court trials in Poland and has taken part in the development of professional opinions regarding construction projects disputes. His main research topics incorporate a wide range of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications in the problems of construction management. Specifically he is interested in the use of AI and ML tools in the cost estimation process. Dr. Juszczyk has published several papers on construction management, cost estimation as well as BIM applications combined with the use of AI and ML tools in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Cooperates with researchers from technical universities in the Czech Republic, Germany and Lithuania. A member of the Society of Quantity Surveyors in Poland.

Dr. Ramy Saadeldin serves as an adjunct professor at the School of Engineering University of British Columbia, Canada. His technical experience includes geotechnics, dam safety and infrastructure management. He has been involved in performance mentoring activities conducted annually for Ontario Power Generation dams and generation stations. His experience includes working as a consulting geo-environmental engineer in multidisciplinary firms in Canada, where he was involved in several civil engineering projects in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and internationally. His research incorporates a wide range of civil and geo-environmental software packages and methodologies. Dr. Saadeldin has published several papers on infrastructure management, pipeline engineering, ground improvement techniques, soil-structure interactions, and sensitive soils in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. An active member of the Canadian Geotechnical Society, Dr. Saadeldin currently serves on the Executive Membership and Education committees.

Dr Thanongsak Imjai of the Walailak University, Thailand BSc MSc PhD SFHEA Senior PE (structures) thanongsak.im@wu.ac.th As Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at Walailak University, Dr Thanongsak Imjai obtained his BEng from the join-programme between Thammasat University and Nottingham University (2001), MSc at Cardiff University (2002) and PhD at Sheffield University in 2007. His research is in the fields of structural concrete, FRP and fibre reinforcement, repair, construction innovation and earthquake engineering. Dr Imjai is a senior professional engineer in Thailand and has been working with several government agencies, engineering associations, such as the Engineering Institution of Thailand and many research and industrial partners in Thailand over 15 years in the asset and forensic engineering fields. In 2010, Dr Imjai was appointed as a Lecturer in Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok (RMUTTO), Thailand. In 2017, he established the Construction Innovation Research Unit (CIRU) in RMUTTO where he served as the director of the CIRU, dealing with several research projects from industrial consultancy services and government sectors. He is a member of the Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) and the International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC). He joined Walailak University as an assistant professor in 2019 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. He has been principal or co-investigator on seven research projects worth approximately 500k USD. He has been involved in the supervision of 12 MSc and 3 PhD students and published over 50 research papers in refereed journals and conferences. Eltarabily is a research scholar in the Department of Land, Air, and Water Resources, UC Davis, CA, USA. Previously, he was an assistant project scientist at Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center, UCANR, CA, USA., and he was a Fulbright visiting scholar at UCANR, CA, USA. Eltarabily is an associate professor of civil engineering at faculty of engineering port said university, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2017 from E-JUST, Alexandria, Egypt, and was a visiting researcher at environmental and civil engineering department, Tokty Institue of Technology, Japan. Prof. Ehab Diab is an assistant professor at the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Saskatchewan. Prof. Markušić's scientific and professional work refers to the field of seismology, which includes research of seismicity of Croatia and neighboring areas, determination of seismic waves in the crust and upper mantle, earthquake magnitude, earthquake location problem, determination of maximum expected accelerations on the Earth's surface (seismic hazard), seismic zoning , defining the structure of the lithosphere below Croatia based on the analysis of receiving functions, assessment of seismic response and vulnerability of historic buildings, analysis of the impact of local soil conditions that play an important role in earthquake damage, historical earthquakes. She has more than 30 years of experience in professional, scientific and educational work in the field of seismology, and has been (or is) a collaborator/leader on a number of national and international projects. She has published more than 60 scientific papers in journals and has participated in development of several dozen professional studies.
