Richard J. Spontak, a Distinguished Professor at NC State University, received his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and pursued post-doctoral research at Cambridge University before joining P&G in 1990 and NC State in 1992. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed journal papers. He has received numerous research awards including the NC State Holladay Medal for Excellence, the ACS (PMSE) Tess Award, the SPSJ International Award, the IChemE Global Research Project Award and Underwood Medal, the ACS (Rubber) Chemistry of Thermoplastic Elastomers Award, and the IOM3 Colwyn Medal. An elected APS, IOM3, ACS-PMSE, and RSC fellow, he is a Jefferson Science Fellow and a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.

Professor Yongbing Xu, Chair Professor in Nanotechnology, heads the Spintronics and Nanodevice Laboratory, in The University of York. UK. He is the director of the Nanjing University (China)- York University (UK) Joint Center in Spintronics, and distinguished concurrent professor of Nanjing University and guestprofessor of several other Chinese universities. He was a senior fellow in Cavendish Laboratory, Cambridge University, UK. He has published more than 500 papers in leading academic journals including Progress of Material Science, Physical Review Letters, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, Nature Communication and Nano Letter and given many invited talks/seminars at major international conferences including MRS, WUNSPIN and Intermag. He is leading the Worldwide University Network (WUN) Consortium on Spintronics (30 partners from 12 research leading UK, USA & China universities). Prof. Xu is a member of the NSF panel and the international advisory committee of the EU Warsaw NanoCenter. He has been chair of 6 international spintronics conferences and Intermag “Roadmap for Spintronics” symposiums. He is the series editor of “Electronic Materials and Devices” by Taylor and Francis, editor-in-Chief of “Handbook of Spintronics” by Springer. Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 111; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 - 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); and is a fellow of over 8 societies.

Yoke Khin Yap is a professor of physics, director of the applied physics graduate program, and a University Professor at Michigan Technological University (MTU), USA. He earned his Ph.D. in 1999 from Osaka University as sponsored by the Japanese government as a Monbusho scholar. Before his appointment at MTU, he was a postdoctoral fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). His research interest is nanoscale van der Waals heterostructures and their applications in electronics, energy, and biomedicine. Professor Yap was honored with the National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2005. He was a Charter member of the users' executive committee of the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2005-2007 and the first elected user group chair in 2008. Professor Yap received the Bhakta Rath Research Award in 2011, was appointed as a Faculty Fellow in 2014-2016, was honored as an Osaka University Global Alumni Fellow in 2015, and received the MTU Research Award in 2018.

Prof. Dongling Ma, holder of the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Advanced Functional Nanocomposites, has been a professor at Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) since 2006. Her main research interest consists in the development of various nanomaterials (e.g., semiconductor quantum dots, transition metal catalytic nanoparticles, plasmonic nanostructures) and different types of nanohybrids for applications in energy, environment, catalysis and biomedical sectors. Dr. Xiaogan Liang is currently working as an Associate Professor at The Mechanical Engineering Department of University of Michigan (UM). His current research interests are focused on nanofabrication, nanomanufacturing, microsystem integration, nanoelectronics and optoelectronics based on low-dimensional nanostructures, biosensors, and microdrone sensors. Jianjun Tian is a professor, and vice-dean of Institute for Advanced Materials and Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing. Dr. Hongquan Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Alberta in Canada, specializing in the development of novel bioanalytical tools and nanosensors for the detection of biological targets in various research fields. His research projects include 1) exploring binding-induced DNA assembly to create ultrasensitive and point-of-care bioanalytical tools, 2) constructing target-triggered DNA nanomachines and nanodevices, 3) developing fluorescent nanosensors for real-time detection of specific biological targets in cellular environments, and 4) developing CRISPR-based diagnostic methods. Dr. Zhang has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious scientific journals, including Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.; ACS Nano; and Chem. Rev., with over 5400 citations on Google Scholar. He has also issued or filed seven patents. In addition, he has served as a guest editor for a Trends in Analytical Chemistry issue.

Rita Magri is associate professor of Physics of Matter at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, since 2010. She got her Master Degree in Physics, mark summa cum laude, in 1985 and her PhD in 1990 with a thesis on Density Functional Theory calculations applied to semiconductor superlattices. In 1990-1991 she was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant at the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI) (now National Renewable Energy Laboratory), in Golden, Colorado, USA, under the direction of Dr. Alex Zunger. From 1992 to 1993 she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, Canada, in the group of Prof. J. Dahn. Her research interests have focused and focuses mainly on the theoretical modelling and atomistic computations of the structural and electronic properties of semiconductors, with particular regard to low dimensional systems and nanostructures. She has been principal investigator of international and national research projects, single author and co-author of more than 100 articles in international journals, and an invited speaker in many international workshops and conferences.

Dr. Željka Vanić is a full professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She received PhD in 2002 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb, and conducted her postdoctoral research at the Pharmaceutical Institute, University of Freiburg (Germany). Her scientific interest includes pharmaceutical nanotechnology, particularly design and evaluation of phospholipid-based drug delivery nanosystems, liposomes, hydrogels and liposomes-in-semisolid bases formulations for improved (trans)dermal and vaginal drug delivery.

Dr. Mamun Sarker is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the flagship university of the university of Nebraska system in USA; and an Assistant Professor on study leave at the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU), one of the most reputed public universities in Bangladesh. Dr. Sarker earned his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, NE, USA where he conducted groundbreaking research on the synthesis and characterization of atomically precise nanoporous graphene with tailored electronic properties. Throughout his career, Dr. Sarker has made remarkable contributions to the development of novel materials for a wide range of applications. His research interests encompass the design and synthesis of functional carbon nanomaterials, including Nanoporous Graphenes (NPGs), Graphene Nanoribbons (GNRs), Nanographenes (NGs), Graphene Oxide (GO), Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO), polymers, and 2D materials with a particular focus on their unique optical, electrical, and mechanical properties, and applications in the electronic logic devices, gas sensors, and quantum topological spin chains.

Dr. Jianping Lu received his PhD in physical chemistry from Tsinghua University, China, in 1998. Part of his PhD thesis research was carried out at CSIRO, Australia. Right after graduation, Dr. Lu did his postdoctoral research on organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) in Prof. Hay’s group at McGill University from 1998 to 2000, and then in Prof. Winnik’s group at University of Toronto working on the synthesis of block copolymers containing fluorescent dyes at the junction by anionic polymerization from 2000-2001. From 2001 to 2002, Dr. Lu worked for a high-tech start-up company as a senior research scientist and project leader, responsible for the development of low-loss photo-patternable optical waveguide materials. In 2003, he joined Institute for Microstructural Sciences, National Research Council of Canada, as an assistant research officer, conducting research on the design and synthesis of organic semiconductors for applications in organic electronic devices, such as OLEDs, organic field effect transistors (OFETs), and organic photovoltaics (OPVs). In 2012, Dr. Lu was promoted to senior research officer. So far, Dr. Lu has published about 80 papers in prestigious scientific journals, such as JACS, Adv Mater, AdvFunct Mater, Chem Mater, and ChemCommun. Dr. Lu has 12 awarded or filed patents. Dr. Lu has received multiple awards from NRC due to his research excellence and outstanding achievements.

Dr. Mateusz Dulski receivedhisPh.D. in physics from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland, in 2015. His dissertationfocused on the structural and physicochemicalcharacterization of a newclass of luminescent (rondorfite) and porous (mayenite) minerals. A part of hisPh.D. thesisresearch, mainly in spectroscopy, was carried out during the Le MansUniversité, France internship and financed by a national grant. Aftergraduation, Dr. Dulski was employed as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics and Materials Science. In 2015, he started a newstage of hiscarrier, focusing on synthesizing and developing newideas for implementing metal-dopedsilicananostructuresinto engineering coat-forming structures on biomedical implants. Research studies have been realized in the project leader SONATA finished by developing a new class of human-friendly, biocompatible, and biological active coating, improving Ni Tialloy's functionality. In 2021, he increased the applicability of the silicas by its surface modificationusingactivegroups to improve metal ionuptake. The idea correlated with developing environmentallyfriendlymolecularsieves to remediategroundwater and soil. Researchprovidedinto OPUS grant. He received the Ph. D. of science from Kyoto University in 2010. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Institute for Solid State Physics, The University of Tokyo in 2010, and moved to Materials and Structures Laboratory, Tokyo Institute of Technology as an assistant professor (2010-2014). He was an assistant professor of Department of Applied Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Chuo University from 2014 to 2019. Riam Abu Much is currently Vice-President at The Academic Arab College for Education in Israel. Former Head of Elementary Science Department, and Head of Chemistry Department. She serves also as a Senior Lecturer at the same college. She earned her Ph.D. degree in chemistry (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) from Bar-Ilan University, she also received her M.Sc. and BSc. in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2008-2009 she was a post-doctoral fellow in chemistry on Bar-Ilan University. Dr. Riam`s research focuses on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. During her M.Sc. and Ph.D. study, she worked on developing metals and magnetic materials at the nanoscale using Ultrasound Irradiation, in addition, she served as teaching assistant at Bar-Ilan University. She published number of papers in leading Journals in this area. In recent years, her research expanded to include chemical education with an emphasis on nano-education. Riam served previously as a scientific member in SALiS and ARTiST projects funded by EU. Riam has published several national and international articles, books, and chapter of books, she has organized several international conferences around the world. Riam has presented her research work on different countries and has awarded as the best presenter and the best paper several times.

Dr. Chunli Zhang received his Ph.D. (2011) in Structural Engineering from Zhejiang University, China. Then he joined in the group of Professor Chuanzeng Zhang at the University of Siegen as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2017, he joined in the group of Professor Zhonglin Wang at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently a Professor at Zhejiang University, his main research interests include: mechanics of smart materials/structures, mechanics of multiferroic materials, and modeling of piezoelectric and piezotronic devices. He has publised over 100 peer-reviewed papers, and is editorial board member of Symmetry and Guster editor of Frontiers in Material.

Wang Yan, she is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), a national high-level talent, and an inductee of the “Agricultural Science Talent Program” of CAAS. She is also the chief scientist of the "Multifunctional Nanomaterials and Agricultural Application” team of the Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Program of CAAS, the deputy director of the Environmental Engineering Research Office, and a member of the Agricultural Chemistry Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. Her research focuses on the synthesis and agricultural application of nanocarrier materials, efficient and green nanopesticide/veterinary drug formulations and targeted precise controlled release. She presided over National High Technology Research and Development Program, the sub-task of collaborative innovation project of the Agricultural Science and Technology Innovition Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Beijing and many other programs. She has published more than 80 papers in academic journals such as ACS Nano, Coord. Chem. Rev., Environ. Sci. Nano, authorized 18 patents, and won one Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award.

Dr. Ranjit Das is Assistant Professor of Universidad Catolica Del Norte, Chile. Dr. Das is UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) expert in the field of Seismic hazard Assessment. Dr.Ranjit Das had graduated from Guwahati University, India in 2001 with Physics as a major subject. He received his Master of Computer Application and M-Tech in Computational Seismology from Tezpur University, India in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He received Ph.D. degree in Computational Seismology from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India with topic entitled “Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessment for Northeast India Region" in 2013. He has expertise in the areas of Seismic Hazard Assessment and Seismological data analysis using Machine Learning. Dr. Das has recently developed a new earthquake measuring scale which is a better version than the existing earthquake magnitude scale. Dr. Das developed several original contributions in the field of regression analysis. Douglas Gouvea, Bachelor in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1986), Master in Physical Chemistry - Araraquara from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1989) and PhD in Chemistry from Federal University of São Carlos - University of Limoges France (1995) ). Assistant Professor (ATER) at ENSCI in Limoges - France in the school year 1994-1995. Hired as a professor in 1997 at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, currently holding the position of Full Professor. The central theme of the research works is related to the physical-chemistry of the surface of ceramic powders mainly on the following topics: ceramic dispersions, synthesis of ceramic materials, sintering and stability and phase transitions in nanometric oxides and photocatalysis.

Dr. Mahmoud Said Elsayed received the B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Zagazig University, Zagazig, Egypt in 2007, the M.E. degrees in Information Security from Nile University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2018, and a PhD degree from the School of Computer Science, UCD, Dublin, Ireland in 2022. He is also received a diploma in management of innovation from the DIT Institute, Dublin, Ireland, and another diploma in networking from the ITI Institute, Cairo, Egypt. Besides, a set of international professional certificates in computer networks, security, and IT fields from Cisco, IBM, Huawei, Juniper, and VMware systems. He has worked for several years in the industry through Huawei and IBM Co. in the area of Computer Networks and Security. Dr. Mahmoud is currently a Network and Security Design Engineer at one of the largest companies in the area of telecommunications. He is also serving as a technical supervisor for PhD students at UCD, Ireland, and Master students, Nile university, Egypt. His research interests include, but are not limited to computer networks, cybersecurity, applications of artificial intelligence to anomaly detection, cancer prognosis and prediction, software-defined networks, malware and vulnerability analysis, security for the Internet of Things, routing protocols, cloud computing, and next generation Wi-Fi design.

Thu Ha Dao has got a Master’s degree in Physics awarded by the Physics department of the University of Camrino, Italy in 2019. In 2019-2020, she worked as a fellow researcher under the project NARAs (Nanotecnologie Applicate alla Rilevazione di Arsenico nelle Acque) at Tor Vergata University, Rome, Italy. Her main activity was to prepare the substrates which potentially can be used for SERs (surface enhanced raman spectroscopy) measurement to detect Arsenic in water. From 2020 till now, she has been a PhD student at the Industrial Engineering department at Tor Vergata University under the project QUANTEP (QUANtum Technologies Experimental Platform). The QUANTEP project aims at the development and implementation of a complete Silicon Photonics Integrated Circuit for Quantum Computation with linear quantum optics circuits and single photons.

Dr. Pranab Sarker is currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Howard University. Previously, he was a postdoc at the Center of Materials Genomics at Duke University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, and a B.Sc. in physics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research covers a broad range of topics and interests—solar energy conversion (PV and PEC), ultra-high temperature ceramics (UHTCs), bio-nano interface, and zwitterionic polymers—focusing on ab initio materials design, multiscale characterization, and thermodynamic growth conditions prediction.

Prof. Dr. Gomah E. Nenaah is a Professor of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at Biology Department, College of Science and Arts, Najran University, Saudi Arabia, and Zoology Department, Faculty of Science. Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt. Prof. Nenaah published more than 40 scientific articles in highly indexed ISI journals. He published many scientific researches that have been funded by several local and international bodies. Prof. Nenaah has attended many specialized international conferences in ecology, nanotechnology, and pest management. His field of research focuses on the isolation, purification and structural elucidation of natural products from wild and aromatic plants using advanced technologies, including spectroscopic instrumentation, and to investigate the biological activities of the natural plant products, particularly their insecticidal and antimicrobial bioactivities. Prof Adel Mathlouthi is a theoretical physicist and a researcher in nano-sciences. Researches focuses on quantum black holes, the mechanical properties of the photon, photon fission and its relationship to the end of geological ages and the great extinctions, in addition to establishing new cosmic constants to study the dimensions of the universe.

Dr. Ana L. Leal-Cruz is a Professor of Electronics Engineering and Postgradat Departamento de InvestigaciónenFísica of the Universidad de Sonora in México. She received his BS in Chemical Engineering (specializing in metallurgy), MS in Ceramic Engineering and a PhD in Metallurgy and Ceramic Engineering at CINVESTAV in Saltillo, Coah., México. His research interests include synthesis and characterization of structural and functional advanced materials, as well as design, development and optimization of nanomaterials and devices for medical, optoelectronics and electronics applications. She is inventor of two patent and is co-author of more than 51 papers in journals and more than 60 conferences papers.

Presently, I am working on anticancer activities of different herbal extracts and phytocomponents on various cancer cell lines to detect the different apoptotic pathways and signaling molecules involved in apoptosis cell death (in-vitro study). I am working on develop a novel drugs (anticancer)of different bio-nanoparticles using medical plants extract for cancer cells treatment. The land is very rich in medical plants, some have been studied and others have not been studied. In our current study we will choose the bio-plants that contain high amounts of Taxol, Flavonoids, Cardiac Glycosides, Podophyllotoxin, Ginsenosides, Glycosides, Brucine, Strychnine Brucine, Alkaloids, Aconitine and Aconine. Moreover, my research work is also focused on the antitumor activity of the herbal extracts and compounds in tumor model of mice (in-vivo study).Including: Cytotoxicity and Genotoxicity assays. Nanotoxicology, Toxicology, Apoptosis, Oxidative stress Biomarkers, Genetic Toxicology, and Cell biology. Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms in Cancer Disease. Bio-nanotechnology.
