Dr. Frenje’s research is conducted in the areas of High-Energy-Density-Plasmas (HEDP), Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF), and nuclear physics. Together with his students, a wide range of diagnostics are built and used to support of the ICF programs at the OMEGA laser facility at Laboratory for Laser Energetics at the University of Rochester, the National Ignition Facility (NIF) at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and the Z facility at Sandia National Laboratory, as well as to conduct basic-science experiments at these facilities. In addition, Dr. Frenje has pioneered a new field of research, called plasma nuclear science, which blends the disciplines of plasma and nuclear physics. In his pioneering experiment, he demonstrated for the first time that an ICF facility and HEDP can be used to study basic nuclear physics. Dr. Frenje has authored/co-authored about 300 peer-reviewed journal papers. He was elected a member of the Executive Committee for the High Temperature Plasma Diagnostics (HTPD) conference in 2014; the Executive Steering Committee for the National Diagnostic Planning effort, initiated by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) (2014–); and member and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Omega Laboratory Users Group (2016–). He was also chairing the ICF-HEDP National Ignition Implosion Physics (NISP) Working Group, an effort initiated by NNSA in 2015-2018; a panel member of the DOE High-Energy-Density Laboratory Physics (HEDLP) ReNew Panel 2009; a member of the NNSA Basic Research Directions on User Science at the NIF panel in 2010; and panel lead for the Stagnation properties and burn panel, which was part of the NNSA Review on Science of Fusion Ignition in 2012. He won the APS’s John Dawson Award for Excellence in Plasma Physics Research in 2022, and the Department of Energy Secretary's Honor Award in 2021 and 2022. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society (Division of Plasma Physics).

He is Editor in Chief of the Journal “Chaos, Solitons and Fractals” (Elsevier) from 2013, and member of the Academia Europaea since 2016. He was elected member of the Florence City Council from 1995 to 1999. Boccaletti has published 412 papers in peer-reviewed international Journals, which received more than 34,000 citations (Google Sholar). His h factor is 69 and his i-10 index is 221. With more than 12,000 citations, the monograph ¨Complex Networks: Structure and Dynamics¨, published by Boccaletti in Physics Reports on 2006 converted into the most quoted paper ever appeared in the Annals of that Journal.

Ifor Samuel is Professor of Physics at the University of St Andrews. He received his MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge, working on optical spectroscopy of organic semiconductors. He was a Research Fellow at Christ’s College, Cambridge and also performed postdoctoral work at CNET-France Telecom in Paris, before setting up his own research group on light-emitting polymers at the University of Durham. Mahmoud Abdel-Aty is a professor of Sohag University, Egypt. In 1999, Abdel-Aty completed his doctorate in Quantum Optics from the Max-Planck-Institute for Quantum Optics in Munich, Germany. He is recognized for his significant contributions in the fields of quantum algorithms and quantum optics. Moreover, he and coauthors developed the widely-known Yang-Abdel-Aty-Carlo fractional derivative operator in general fractional calculus, which is a new branch of fractional calculus. He was elected as a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences in 2012, and received multiple local and international awards. These include Qin-Jiu-Shao Prize, Chin, the Incentive State Award for Advanced Technology Sciences, the State Award of Excellence for Basic Science, the State Encouragement Award for Mathematics, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Prize, and the Fayza Al-Khorafy Award, Third World Academy’s Prize in Mathematics by ICTP, Italy, among others. Ibukunoluwa Adisa completed his masters in theoretical physics specializing in Quantum Algorithms with Continuous-Time Quantum Walks under Thomas Wong where he discovered dynamic graphs for a dense set of universal quantum gates, such that all one-qubit gates and two-qubit controlled gates can be implemented with just a sequence of three gates. He is now a doctoral student of physics at the Joint Quantum Institute at the University of Maryland, College Park, USA where he is working on quantum simulation with superconducting qubits.

Dr. Bijan Berenji graduated from Stanford University in theoretical astroparticle physics in 2011, working with NASA and the US Department of Energy, using Fermi-LAT data. He has a very strong foundation in physics-based Monte Carlo simulations and machine learning. Mahmoud Abdel-Aty is a professor of Sohag University, Egypt. In 1999, Abdel-Aty completed his doctorate in Quantum Optics from the Max-Planck-Institute for Quantum Optics in Munich, Germany. He is recognized for his significant contributions in the fields of quantum algorithms and quantum optics. Moreover, he and coauthors developed the widely-known Yang-Abdel-Aty-Carlo fractional derivative operator in general fractional calculus, which is a new branch of fractional calculus. He was elected as a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences in 2012, and received multiple local and international awards. These include Qin-Jiu-Shao Prize, Chin, the Incentive State Award for Advanced Technology Sciences, the State Award of Excellence for Basic Science, the State Encouragement Award for Mathematics, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Prize, and the Fayza Al-Khorafy Award, Third World Academy’s Prize in Mathematics by ICTP, Italy, among others. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University, Elazig, Turkey in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired on November 28, 2019, due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. After Soviet Union collapse, George attempted to continue his education in North America. In the summer 1994 he applied and was admitted to PhD program in Algebraic Number Theory in McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In spite of the fact that McGill University paid his tuition fees and produced all required documents and PhD student ID card, clerk of Immigration du Quebeq turned down his application for student visa and George could not legally continue his study. During his term at various universities in Turkey, he attended more than 20 international conferences and symposiums, one of which was an invited speaker, and made different presentations on the dynamics of rational functions and their fractal images. Joining the Dynamic Systems group of Boston University, USA, as a TUBITAK Project coordinator between 2009 and 2010, he completed his post-doctoral study with the group's executive professor Robert L. Devaney and other group members. He spent the fall semester of the 2014-2015 academic year at Boston University, USA as an invited researcher and completed the TÜBİTAK project on Perturbation theory. Figen ÇİLİNGİR, who received the title of Professor of mathematics in 2023, has made many seminar presentations as a guest of various universities, as well as has publications in Q-indexed journals, mostly with a single name. F. Çilingir has been working in the Department of Mathematics at Iğdır University since February 2021.

Dr. Ahmad AL-Diabatreceived the B.Sc. in physics from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2007, MSc in physics from Al al-bayt University in 2013 and the Ph.D. in Applied and Engineering Physics from UniversitiSains Malaysia (USM) in 2018. He was a research associate at USM from 2016 to 2018, and currently, he became an Assistant Professor at Al-Zaytoonah University, Jordan. His current research interest focuses on nanomaterials fabrication and characterization for gas sensor and optoelectronic devices applications.

Semion Sukoriansky is Professor Emeritus at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel. He received his MA in Mechanics and Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and PhD from BGU, working on turbulence theory and Magneto-Hydrodynamics (MHD). He was a Research Staff Member at Princeton University before becoming faculty member at BGU, where he taught courses in fluid mechanics, turbulence, heat transfer, MHD and numerical methods. He was Head of the Center for MHD Studies and Head of the Energy Engineering Unit at BGU. Most of his publications are in the field of anisotropic turbulence. He developed the Quasi-Normal Scale Elimination Method and applied it to study the effects of external body forces on turbulence. The theory explained modification of spectral and transport properties of turbulence affected by stable stratification, system rotation or Lorentz force.

Isaak Rubinstein is Professor Emeritus at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). He received his B.Sc.-M.Sc. in Physics from the Latvian State University and Ph.D.in Applied Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS). Upon post-doctorates in University of Cambridge and MIT he joined the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of WIS where he worked till 1988 when he joined the Blaustein Institutes of Desert Research and the Department of Mathematics of BGU where he worked since then (Emeritus since 2017). Scientific interests: Physico-Chemical Hydrodynamics, Membrane Electrochemistry, Micro-/Nano-Fluidics.

Dr. Pawan Kumar currently working as a Associate Professor of Physics at RKGIT, Ghaziabad. He completed M.Tech and Ph.D. in physics from IIT Delhi. He worked as a research associate in different research projects e.g. magnetic fusion, terahertz radiation generation, plasma effects in nano dimensions. Over the last decade the focus of his research has been radio frequency heating of plasmas, laser plasma interactions, laser plasma based particle accelerators, laser driven fusion, laser plasma based compact radiation sources and light matter interactions at nanoscale- plasmonics. Dr. Pawan Kumar developed the concept of “A Surface Plasmon Laser” the surface plasmon laser based on stimulated emission of a surface plasma wave (SPW) on a metal-vacuum interface by electron-hole recombination in a forward biased p-n junction located near the interface. Dr. Pawan Kumar has published more 30 research articles in highly reputed refereed international journals. Dr. Pawan Kumar is group leader of Research Centre for Compact Radiation Sources, RKGIT and member of An International Study Group to Promote Advanced and Novel Accelerators for High Energy Physics Applications, Advanced Linear Collider Research Group (ALEGRO).

Prof. Umananda Dev Goswami is currently working as a Professor, Department of Physics, Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. D. from Gauhati University in 2007 in the area of Cosmic Ray Physics, He did his two years Post-Doctoral work in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India during 2007-2009. Title of talk: Recent and Innovative Approaches in Obtaining Solitons of Complex Partial Differential Equations

Dr. Naumenko is the author of sixteen issued U.S. patents on the optimal substrate orientations for SAW devices, including the patent on the optimal cut of langasite, which is widely used today by many companies in SAW filters and sensors operating at high temperatures. She is the author of more than 100 publications in SAW material research. Her current research interests include the investigation of multilayered substrates for SAW filters and sensors and the development of improved simulation tools for the design of surface and bulk acoustic wave devices, such as resonator filters, delay lines, and wireless sensors. In 2016 and 2018, Dr. Naumenko gave two short courses on wireless SAW sensors for harsh environment applications and on multilayered structures for the new generation of SAW devices at the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposia IUS-2016 in Tours, France, and IUS-2018 in Kobe, Japan. Since 2011, Dr. Naumenko has been a member of the Technical Program Committee of the IEEE Ultrasonic Symposium.
