Professor Raman Singh’s primary research interests are in the relationship of Nano-/microstructure and Environment-assisted degradation and fracture of metallic and composite materials, and Nanotechnology for Advanced Mitigation of such Degradations. He has also worked extensively on use of advanced materials (e.g., graphene) for corrosion mitigation, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including for the use of magnesium alloys for aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Prof Singhis a senior professor at Monash University, Australia. He is a Guest Professor at ETH Zurich, Switzerland (2020, 2023, 2024), US Naval Research Lab, Indian Institute of Science, and University of Connecticut. He worked as a scientist at Indian Atomic Energy and as a post-doc fellow at University of New South Wales, Australia. Prof Singh’s professional distinctions and recognitions include: Guest Professor of ETH Zurich, Editor of a book on Cracking of Welds (CRC Press), Lead Editor of a book on Non-destructive Evaluation of Corrosion (Wiley), Editor-in-Chief of an Elsevier and two MDPI journals, leader/chairperson of a few international conferences and numerous plenary/keynote lectures at international conferences, over 265 peer-reviewed international journal publications and 15 book chapter, and several competitive research grants (that includes 4 Discovery, 7 Linkage and one ITRH grants of Australian Research Council). Prof Singh has supervised 52 PhD students. His vibrant research group at Monash University comprises of PhD students from different disciplines (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials and Mining Engineering, and Science) as well as from different cultural backgrounds (Australian, Middle-eastern, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, African, North American and Israeli).

Dr Sunday Cookey Ekpo is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with experience of carrying out world-leading fundamental, use-inspired and applied research projects on sustainable radio communication and satellite systems engineering. He designs reconfigurable / digitally-assisted architectures to achieve ultra-low energy and spectrum-efficient multi-radio multi-coverage / range solutions / products. Dr Ekpo provides niche expert research and development (R&D) engineering inputs to world-leading companies spanning satellite broadcast solutions manufacturing; antennas and signal propagation engineering; electronic voice recognition solutions for next-generation adapted vehicles; radio frequency (RF), millimetre-wave and microwave systems development for advanced radio access technologies applications; satellite-cellular convergence open radio access network ecosystem; regenerative transponder and reconfigurable transceiver design; multiple input multiple output RF frontend design; and adaptive holographic beamformer development for next-generation mobile communications. He has given 10+ international distinguished / guest lectures / talks effective 2020. The outputs from Dr Ekpo’s research work span 120+ peer-reviewed and refereed technical publications. He has two postgraduate completions as the Principal Supervisor (PS); examined four international PhD students; served as an independent chair; and currently the PS of 5 PGR students. Stasiek was born on January 31, 1948 in Kwidzyn, Poland and had an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science from Gdansk University of Technology (GUT), in 1972, followed by a PhD and DrHab in 1975 and 1985 respectively. He went through the academic ranks until becoming a professor in Mechanical Engineering awarded by President of Poland in 1998 and since 2005 he has been employed as a Full Professor . During 2008/2016, he was elected two-time as the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and from 2000 to 2012, he had been the Head of.Thermal.Technology.Department.at.GUT . An undeniable achievement of Prof. J.A. Stasiek is obtaining second PhD (1992) and DSc(1995) from City University, London , United Kingdom where he joined as a professorial research fellow from 1989 until 1995 (seven years). He had previously held visiting fellowships (mitarbeiter) in RWTH Aachen (1986- 6 months) and University of Munich (1989-DAAD scholarship) Germany and later Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm (3 month under Swedish Institute Scholarship in 1999). Throughout his career he has actively researched in the areas of thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, energy conversion (combustion, gasification), flow visualization and renewable energy resources (RES). Yang Han(S’08-M’10-SM’17) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2010. In 2010, he joined the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, where he has been an Associate Professor in 2013, and Full professor in 2021. From March 2014 to March 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He is currently with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, UESTC. His research interests include the ac/dc microgrids, active distribution networks, power quality, grid-connected converters for renewable energy systems, active power filters, multilevel converters, and static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs). Dr. Han has received several national and provincial projects, and more than 30 industrial projects in the area of power electronics, smart grid, microgrid, and power quality analysis and compensation. He holds more than 40 issued and pending patents. Maria Vrakopoulou is appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus and as an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne since January 2024. She received her diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece in May 2008, and her PhD degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, at ETH Zurich, Switzerland in June 2014. Dr. Vrakopoulou pursued her research as a post-doc in the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA for a year, and then she earned a 3-year Marie Curie fellowship award to continue her post-doctoral research in the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, and ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to her current appointment, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Power and Energy System group at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne for 5 years. His scientific research focuses on the design, development, and characterization of electrolysis and photoelectrolysis devices and systems. Vitor da Silva Rosa has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecília (2011), a master's degree in Energy from UFABC (2014) and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of São Paulo (2017). He is currently a supervisor, teacher and coordinator of the postgraduate committee in mechanical engineering at Santa Cecília University, as well as a full professor in the chemical engineering undergraduate course and in the basic engineering course at Santa Cecília University. Philipp Stehle received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. degree in chemistry from the University of Freiburg, Germany with focus on molecular inorganic chemistry. In 2020, he started his PhD at Mercedes-Benz in cooperation with the University of Ulm, Germany. He then joined Daimler Truck in 2023 as a lithium-ion cell chemist in the research & development department. He was a researcher in the Industrial Technology Research Institute(Taiwan) working on MEMS related products. Dr. Dorra Lounissi is a seasoned researcher and academic, specializing in energy and environmental science and sustainable development. Sayed Abulanwar Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Horus University, Egypt (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2005 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Energy Technology Department, Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt. He is Associate Editor, IET Renewable Power Generation and Alexandria Engineering Journal. He is a Guest Editor, IET Renewable Power Generation for Special Issue: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Systems. He is also Guest Editor for Special Issue: Planning and Operation of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems, Volume II, Frontiers in Energy Research. His research includes hybrid AC/DC Microgrids, protection of AC and DC systems, wind energy conversion systems, transients in power systems and grid-connected converters.

Dr. Dima Fares holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Lebanese University and contributes her expertise as a faculty member in the "ProGreen Diploma" program at the American University of Beirut. With a decade of experience in sustainable energy, renewable energy systems, and the fields of optimization and control, Dr. Fares is recognized for her dedication to research and sustainability. Her credentials include certification as an Energy Manager (CEM) and Lighting Professional (CLEP) by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Dr. Fares has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications across various international journals and conferences. She is a registered Electrical Engineer with the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut and actively engages in promoting industrial relations as the Coordinator for IEEE WIE- Lebanon. Alexander Aguila Téllez. - In 2005, he graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Camagüey - Cuba. In 2010, he received his master's degree in Energy Efficiency, awarded by the University of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. In 2019 he received his second master's degree in Engineering, awarded by the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín – Colombia, where he has also collaborated as a researcher in several scientific projects. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering at the aforementioned university in Colombia in 2021. Over the last seven years, he has worked as a professor and researcher at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in Ecuador, where he has conducted several electrical engineering courses and supervised some master theses. Currently, he is the director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at this university. He is a member of the research group on smart electrical grids (GIREI) and a member of the Colombian research program “Energética 2030”. He has participated in several prestigious international conferences and events and collaborated as an exhibitor and committee member. Alexander has participated in various national and international research projects in Electrical Engineering. He has published several high-impact international papers indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and has also been a reviewer of various scientific papers. He has work experience in electrical network design companies. His major research interests include reliability, fault diagnosis on electrical distribution systems, smart grids, Volt–Var control, minimizing power losses, renewable energy systems, and energetic efficiency.

EDWIN MARCELO GARCIA TORRES (Member, IEEE) is an Electrical Engineer from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana; an additional M.Sc. degree in Energy Management from Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, and a M.Sc. degree in Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, in Medellín, Colombia; and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. He is a full professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in Quito, Ecuador. He is an active member of the GIREI Group for research on smart grids in Ecuador.

Diego Carrión obtained his electrical engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (Quito - Ecuador), has a master's degree in Renewable Energies from Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas (Sangolquí - Ecuador), another master's degree in Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín - Colombia) and a PhD in Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín - Colombia) and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad International de Valencia (Valencia - Spain). He is a professor at the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana in the Electrical Engineering Career and the Graduate Program in Electricity. He has been an associate researcher at the National Institute of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy of Ecuador (INER). He is currently the principal investigator in several projects within the research group on Smart Grids (GIREI) of the Salesian Polytechnic University. He is also part of the Energy 2030 project in Colombia. His research is focused on planning and operating electrical power systems, considering optimal flows, optimal switching of transmission lines, electrical protections, fault location, and electricity markets. He reviews scientific articles in different indexed journals and scientific congresses. He has generated several publications indexed in scientific databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, Scielo, and Latindex.

Dr. Nitai Pal is currently working in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He received his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India in 1998 and 2000 respectively. He did his Ph.D. (Engineering) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in the year 2007.He has total experience of 23 years in teaching. He has more than80 nos. of research publications in various International and National Journals of repute. He has published a numbers of research papers in several International and National conference Proceedings. He has also published total 15 numbers of book and book chapters through conferences. He is the peer reviewer of various International Journals; like IEEE, IET, Elsevier, Springer, IJCEE, IJCTE etc. Dr. Pal has successfully completed one UGC funded MRP “Development of Hybrid Off-grid Power Supply System for Remote Areas” as a sole PI. He has also successfully completed another two R&D projects as a Co-PI. One R&D project entitled “Dynamic Charging of EVs using Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) Technique” is ongoing under his supervision. Hitesh Datt Mathur received B.E. degree from Nagpur University, Nagpur, India, in 1998; M.E. degree from Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur, India, in 2000; and the Ph. D. degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India in 2007 and He was Post-Doctoral Fellow in Supelec, Paris, France in 2013. He was also invited as visiting scientist to Centralesupelec, France in May- June of 2015 and May- June of 2019, and December 2022. He is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has teaching and research experience of more than 23 years. Dr. Mathur is the Associate Editor of IET Renewable Power Generation as well as in the editorial board and reviewer of various journals mainly in the field of e-mobility, electrical power system, renewable energy and smart grid technologies. He is a Senior member of IEEE, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), a Chartered Engineer, and a life member of the Indian Society of Technical Education. He has published more than 95 papers in national/international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include smart grid technology with focus on energy management and EVs' grid integration and charging/discharging aspects, large power system control of isolated and interconnected power systems, power system optimization, automatic generation control, and artificial intelligence techniques applications in power systems and distributed generation (DG) with grid interconnection issues. He is handling research projects of various government and non-government organizations such as the Dept. of Science and Technology, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Asian smart city research innovation network (ASCRIN), BITS-RMIT higher education academy etc. The projects are related to Energy management through IoT, Renewable source integration, microgrids, Electric vehicle penetration challenges, development of digital twin of energy networks, etc.

Dr. Pooja Singh received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). She has experience of 21 years in world’s leading CMMi-5 software multinational companies, research organizations and academic institutes. She is currently Assistant Professor in SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai, and has distinction of working in the field of Image processing, Artificial intelligence, Mathematical Modelling, reliability engineering, safety engineering and other mathematical sciences for to solve the various technical challenges in Nuclear Power Plants. She has an illustrious career and succeeded in several critical jobs assigned to him in his illustrious career, though, each of them was challenging. Her assignments over the years range from design, development, testing, IV&V, related research and site validation of the safety critical computer based systems of Indian Nuclear Power Plants. She has published several research papers in journals of high impact factor like IEEE Transactions, IEEE Computer, ACM, Elsevier, Quality & Reliability International, etc. She is recipient of many awards like prestigious IEEE K. Shankar award, publication award, etc. She has also received IEEE Woman Technologist award. She is a reviewer of several SCI indexed journals of high impact factor, including 14 different IEEE Transactions. She is a life member of Indian Nuclear Society. Sankar Peddapati (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, India, and the M.Tech. degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, India, in 2006, and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2015.He is currently with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tadepalligudem, India. Sankar Peddapati held administrative responsibilities as Head of Electrical Engineering in the past and currently, he is Associate Dean Research and Consultancy, NIT Andhra Pradesh. The research interests include power electronics, renewable energy systems, distribution modernization and published journals in various IEEE transactions. Sankar Peddapati received “Research Excellence Award” from Lions Club Tadepalligudem. Sankar Peddapati is also programmed manager for establishing CRTDH laboratory with the total sanctioned budget of 7.15 crores. Sankar Peddapati also acted as technical idea evaluator for the competitions organized by Govt. of India and he also interested in the area of Assistive Technology.

Dr.Chandra Sekhar Obbu is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi, India. He received the Ph.D. degree fromJawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, in 2014. In 2015, he received SERB Fast Track Young Scientist Award from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. He holds three patents. He has published more than 60 journal and conference papers. He received core research grant (CRG) from SERB funded projects from Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India worth of 57 Lakhs approximately.
